Since 2000, Silent Mountain Martial Arts has offered the highest quality of instruction possible in Karate, Ju-Jitsu and American Tactical System - a reality based system geared toward adults. Presently we have modified our classes to teach only Man Maru Ju-jitsu. Man Maru Ju-Jitsu International was founded by Dr. James Washington and Dr. Jim Grubbs. We are proud to offer this style of traditional self defense as it relates to a post 9/11 world. Shotokan Karate and the American Tactical System are taught on a private class basis to individuals and groups.

 Master Kelly Oliver is the head instructor at the Silent Mountain. He has over 30 years experience and hold black belt ranks in Seiei-Kan Karate, Shotokan Karate, Shaolin/Wudang Kung Fu, Shinja Buke-Ryu Kenpo Karate,Seiei Ju-Jitsu and Man Maru Ju-Jitsu. Master Oliver competed internationally for the United States in 2001 and again in 2003. During this time he traveled to Paris, London, Dublin and all over Scotland representing the United States. Master Oliver continues to travel extensively both nationally and internationally teaching and training in the arts.

         
                                                                                                 

      

 Master Oliver has been inducted into 5 Halls of Fame including The United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the International Black Belt Hall of Fame and the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. 

 At the Silent Mountain, we don't stress tournament participation although some people choose to compete. Whichever path the individual student chooses is fine, but our main priority is training people to stay alive in real world situations. Our prayer is that we all learn well and teach well but never have to use our God-Given skills in conflict.

Children's Class - Monday nights at 5:30 p.m.
Adult Class - Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.
Private Classes - Thursdays
